Initial consultation
Inclusive of initial communications with client and initial research and advise and guidance
- Primary discussions to analyse the clients' current situation and which kind of services they are interested in and what would suit them best. Gathering all information regarding the nature of interests the client has to engage new staff members (full or part time basis)
- Gathering candidate information to assess which type of permit is needed according to their individual needs, (such as change of employer prior / following termination, student application, secondary employment licences)
- Guidance regarding documents required having to be in line with the job position offered. Making sure all the relevant documents are in line with their status in Malta / abroad and fees to be paid.
1. Candidates that already hold a work permit in the EU
2. Candidates still abroad (third country nationals)
3. Candidates holding a valid work permit in Malta
4. Change of Employer following / prior termination
5. Third Country Nationals currently studying in Malta
- All the above candidates' information/documents will be stored on their personal profile on our internal software for further processing.
- Ensuring that both client and candidate have a mutual agreement regarding all the requirements for their recruitment solutions.
Documentation (preparation) (based on type of application)
Inclusive of guidance for form preparation and full support until filed, also updates as to application progress once filed (where applicable)
- Forwarding relevant forms to candidate
- Liaising with candidate regarding documents needed to be prepared and their formats (work contract will also be needed at this stage)
- Liaising with the client regarding supporting documentation which is to be submitted to the authorities and the most effective ways to obtain them
- Assisting the candidate and client with filling in government forms and making sure all necessary fields are completed accurately
- Assisting the client with the Still Abroad procedure with effective ways of sending and receiving the required documentation for the visa process.
- Guiding the employer through the application process for the online single permit or Jobs Plus system (according to the status that the candidate holds) and assisting with the submission procedure.

Renewals (Documentation and Process)

- Liaising with the candidate prior to renewal to confirm that they wish to stay in the same position they are currently employed in and discuss the fees and documents required
- Assistance and guidance for documentation needed should the candidate opt to apply for a different position
- Assisting the candidate and client with filling in government forms and making sure all necessary fields are completed accurately
- Guiding the employer through the application process for the online single permit system or JobsPlus system (according to the status that the candidate holds) and assisting with the submission procedure.

Appeals Process
Guidance through the process up until filing of documentation
- Explanation regarding the reason of refusal / revoke
- Guidance and recommendations to proceed with a lawyer or notary to justify that all supporting documents and refusal letters are eligible (original copies of documents will be needed at this stage)
- Preparation of correspondence to the appeal board, ensuring all supporting documents needed for the appeal are concise and correct and guiding the candidate to which entities and departments they need to go to submit their appeal
- Ensuring that the candidate has successfully delivered their appeal and has receipt as proof that the appeal has been filed
- Follow up upon acceptance of the appeal by assisting the candidate and client with preparation of documentation requested by the appeals board
